Ask what customers pay for

Does the company sell an AI product, provide implementation services or use AI to deliver existing work? The effect on revenue and margins can be different in each case.

Benefits and pressure can coexist

Automation may reduce delivery costs while also changing what customers are willing to pay. Higher productivity does not automatically mean higher revenue for a services company.

Read the disclosures

Look for the company’s own explanation of material revenue, costs and risks. If AI revenue is not separately disclosed, avoid assigning a precise AI valuation based on a label.

Size does not settle risk

Large and small companies face different constraints, but neither category is automatically safe. Valuation, customer concentration, liquidity and governance still matter.
